UK and Ireland distributor of art materials, stationery and craft products

About Jakar International
Jakar International distributes artist materials, stationery and craft products in the UK and Ireland. It sells through retailers, wholesalers, educational suppliers and mail order firms, not directly to the public.
Ranges include drawing instruments, stationery, and art and craft materials such as craft knives, cutting mats, rulers, stencils and ROSA watercolour paints. It is the exclusive UK and Ireland distributor of Caran d'Ache.
The company states it has chosen not to sell online to the public so that it does not compete with its customers. Its sales representatives visit prospective customers from any sector.
The family business was founded in 1949 and now operates from a warehouse in Elstree. Catalogues and price lists are available on its site; account terms are not published.
